Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of loanwords in modern French, which are one of the key ways to enrich the lexical composition of the French language. The article looks at the most significant borrowings, namely Arabic, and analyzes their influence on the lexical composition and culture of the French language. Furthermore, the historical context for understanding loanwords in French is provided, as well as examples of the use of loan words and expressions in everyday life. This article can be useful for learning French and understanding its cultural and linguistic relevance.
